Brendan Fraser the 2023 Best Actor Oscar winner for Darren Aronofsky's The Whale, was honored on Saturday, July 15 at the final Grand Gala at Regina Isabella.

As Fraser is known, he plays a professor who comes in at 250 pounds, a performance that led him to a well-deserved Academy statuette after a triumph with critics and ovations from audiences around the world."

Along with him, director Rob Marshall (Legend Award - in the name of Luchino Visconti) and Oscar-winning composer, Diane Warren (William Walton Legend Award) accompanied by Sofia Carson (who sang Applause at the 2023 Oscars, nominated) were honored in Ischia.
